Egge - Egg Boiler Redesign

Malaysian Breakfast Culture
Soft-boiled eggs have always been an indispensable element in Malaysian breakfast culture. The simple and fast cooking method is more popular with Malaysians and Singaporeans. Just add some pepper and soy sauce to the soft-boiled egg, and a cup of Nanyang-style coffee and Kaya toast could make a good start for your day!

The Original Egg Boiler
Because of the breakfast culture, almost every Malaysian family has a simple tool that can cook perfect soft-boiled eggs without any energy consumption. The principle of this tool is similar to the hourglass. Just put the boiled water and eggs into the container. The water will slowly drip down to the lower water container through the filter layer. The process will take 5 to 10 minutes for the perfect soft-boiled egg!

Issue
The original egg boiler is efficient in boiling eggs but not convenient to take it out after, the boiled egg is often too hot to take by hand. Secondly, the round form takes up the kitchen table space.

This egg boiler has always looked like this since I can remember. As time went by, the appearance of the egg boiler was started to look a little boring to me. So I decided to reinterpret the egg boiler so that it is more suits the modern taste, even if it is placed in the kitchen without hindering the space.

Concept
I decided to keep the yellow color scheme, It actually left a strong impression on anyone who used or saw it. The goal is to simplify the form, why not emphasize the relationship between egg white and yolk?

Added a handle that can measure the water amount and simply pick up the pouch and pour it into the plate.
